We've been a local family-owned business since we started. Primitive Butchers is operated by Jean & his Wife Lethicya, and Bruno & his mother Myrthes.

Primitive Butchers has always been a Brazilian Butcher & Grocery Shop, Sausage-Maker, and Rotisserie… but now we are also a Commercial Kitchen too!

Primitive Butchers is committed to quality. We source only the best-quality fresh meat and poultry that's available on the market. And we work tirelessly to make sure that everything we cut and create is top-quality — the kind of quality that you can really savour.

It's been that way from the very beginning, ever since Jean & Bruno opened Primitive Butchers in 2021. They are continually encouraged and supported by loyal customers and anyone else who enters the shop to focus on being the best they can— a philosophy that has built a successful business.
